In an open classroom we will present fieldwork in biology based on using Identification keys for plants in Sečovljske soline. Activities include work with tablet computers and computer sensors (Vernier) for measuring salinity. Participants will determine halophytic plants, with upgraded interactive identification key. Participants will find out the advantages of upgrading and will search for other options to adapt the key, depending on the age, developmental level of the learner and the goals that they want to achieve with the selected activities. Participants will learn about the structure of identification keys and a freely available program for editing web pages, which can be used for modifying the identification keys.
